In January 2010 our planning permission was changed to allow powered aircraft operations at Easterton. Before this any powered aircraft operation had to be in connection with gliding activity and this restriction has now been lifted. Pilots wishing to visit Easterton may now do so but Prior Permission is required (PPR). To arrange PPR please phone the chairman, Robert Tait, in the first instance when seeking permission, or if he is not available, Mike Black the CFI. At weekends you may call the airfield where any instructor or club director may authorise PPR.
When arriving please give a call at 5 minutes on 130.290 Mhz so that we may keep you informed of any activity. Even if you get no response please make blind calls for overhead join, downwind etc. Please note that you may be asked to hold for gliders or tugs to land.
