In January 2010 our planning permission was changed to allow powered aircraft operations at Easterton. Previously any powered aircraft operation had to be in connection with gliding activity and this restriction has now been lifted. Pilots wishing to visit Easterton may now do so but Prior Permission is required (PPR). This web page will shortly be updated with more detailed information for pilots visiting Easterton airfield. In the meantime please phone the chairman, Robert Tait, in the first instance when seeking permission or if he is not available, Geddes Chalmers the CFI. If you are coming at a weekend please give a call at 5 minutes on 130.1 Mhz so that we may keep you informed of any activity. Please note that you may be asked to hold for gliders or tugs to land. |
